At first I did not think I would like Uglies because it was a sci-fi book, but after reading it I adored all of WesterfeldsWesterfelds characters and could relate to them on many levels. I quickly found myself excited to read the next three books in the series. i recommend this book to anyone in the mood for a good book. I also must say I love the cover art.
